As an "outsider" in most of my primary school career, I have to admit that I endured quite a taunting most of the time. There are a few of those taunters that come to mind readily, but most have since been buried by my brain and replaced with the understanding that THEY were the problem, not me.
That being said, when you occasionally wonder "Where are they now?", you don't necessarily have an accurate clue.

One such forgotton taunter, Jessica, was a cute, perkey, petite, little gum-chewing harpy that would poke, prod, and otherwise annoy me. She was a "popular girl", not unlike the "Mean Girls" (STILL have yet to see that movie). But the fact that she was a cute dancer/gymnist with a pussy-posse made her that much more annoying.

I did wonder, from time to time, where she is now.....what does she look like....is she still a tiny annyoning little gnat?

Just yesterday, I finally found out.

I was standing in line at the drug store, when I felt someone standing way too close to me. Then I smelled the stench of old Marlboro Lights and heard the annoying gum-chewing. I just turned my head enough to catch her out of the corner of my eye.

Nauseating....the only word to describe. It's like that hex I placed on her so many years ago actually came true. I hoped she be a nasty, fat, old-looking, stinky, annoying, stuck in the same hairstyle kind of woman with a gravely voice.

And that's exactly what she'd actually become.

I've sunk to a new low....because I smiled to myself....

Is it bad Karma to revel in others bad Karma?
